The owner of Elicia’s Pizza in St. Louis had a surprise for two armed robbers that came into his shop looking for some quick cash. The attempted robbery took place Sunday morning and left one robber with a long-term issue with sitting down.

According to Fox2Now.com, Two men barged into the pizza shop armed with handguns and demanded money. While one of the men took money out of the cash register, the other held the owner at gunpoint. Seizing a moment of opportunity, the owner, a concealed carry permit holder, was able to grab his gun and exchange shots with one of the robbers.

One of the robbers was hit by the owner in both the leg and the buttocks. He was taken to the hospital and is listed in stable condition.

The owner of the shop was not injured.

While the other robber got away, the owner is confident that he hit him as well. However, this is no evidence of this.

Good for the owner for taking his safety into his own hands.
