HOUSTON, TX — An armed concealed carrier at a Texas restaurant shot and killed an active gunman when he opened fire from outside the restaurant.

According to local media reports, it happened late Sunday night at Mien Tay Quan restaurant when a gunman started shooting while the place was packed with customers. Anthony Yet was at the restaurant eating dinner when the shooting took place. Armed, Yet immediately engaged the suspect and fired, killing him and successfully ending the horrible events.

One of the men involved walked out to his vehicle and retrieved a handgun, deputies said. He then fired several times through the glass front door of the restaurant.

That’s when one of those customers, Anthony Yet, who happens to be an investigator with the Harris County Attorney’s Office, pulled out his service gun, immediately took aim and shot the suspect right then and there.

Details are still few and far between, but we are keeping an eye on this story for any developments.
