[WHY I CARRY] If You’re Going To Be A Good Samaritan, Better Bring Your Gun

Published

A reader posted a message on our Facebook page about a news story from his area. In the story, we find sadness… and a reminder of how important it is to be armed.

I live in northern kentucky. Last night a gentleman stopped to help a stranded motorist that was stuck in the mud. Unfortunately the good samaratin ended up being the victim of a severe stabbing. He was stabbed multiple times and had to be airlifted out. Just goes to show everyone the importance of becoming a concealed carrier. I feel so bad for the victim and my prayers go out to him and his family!

So sad and senseless. Taking advantage of someone’s generosity in such a way is just a disgrace. Regardless of the details (because we don’t have them), it’s important to remember that our guard should always be up… even if it seems like we’re about to help an innocent motorist down on his luck.
