Phoenix Homeowner Ruins Burglar’s Plans By Means Of Gunshot Wound

Published

PHOENIX, ARIZONA — An armed homeowner was more than prepared when a burglar broke into his home just before 4 am Wednesday morning.

Police were called and when they arrived at the home, they found the wounded suspect, who was taken to the hospital for treatment. The homeowner was uninjured.

The news story doesn’t mention whether or not the intruder was armed, but it’s a piece of the puzzle that we don’t really need to know. If someone enters your home uninvited, posing a threat, you have every right to defend yourself, home, family and property.

The suspect was taken to the hospital in serious condition, but his wounds were considered non-life threatening.
