Is Your Concealed Carry Gear Absolute Crap? It May Take You Time To Realize It.

Published

One of our Concealed Nation Extra group members, Zane, had an interesting post that we wanted to share outside of the group. It’s a quick post about his personal journey with concealed carry, realizing along the way that much better options were out there in the world of guns, holsters and other accessories.

It’s important to hear about these journeys, because many use… less than desirable gear.

The group has become an interesting spot for advice and discussion, but if you’re not up for criticism (constructive, of course), it may not be the place for you. But, if you’re looking for solid advice, think about joining us.

So often we see people showing off their sub optimal gear and unwilling to consider criticism, how about some of the more squared away guys talk about the evolution of their carry. I’m not ashamed to say I’ve made some pretty terrible choices. I’ll start

1st set up: cobra patriot .45 in an uncle Mike’s holster SOB. Web belt No support equipment

2nd: Astra .44mag 2.75” barrel in a gun store special leather holster that didn’t cover the trigger, web belt

3rd: keltec .380, uncle Mike’s pocket

4th Glock 33 in a serpa paddle Or uncle Mike’s No belt.

5th glock 17 in a home made kydex holster finally got a real belt

*took first real 2 day class*

Same but RCS eidolon

Same but with a trl1 in armadillo lux

Glock 19 trl1 507c in either a Henry spark or phlster spotlight.

A lot of us are really trying to help fast track you and save you some money in the process by pointing out shitty things.
