Published

PHOENIX, ARIZONA — One man was killed and se on others injured during a shooting that occurred at a hotel, and police believe it began over an argument.

Police said a group of people between the ages of 18 and 22 who all were attending a function inside the hotel had an argument that escalated into shots being fired.

Police believe that the incident was isolated and not a random attack.

“There was definitely more than one shooter,” a police spokesperson said. “After the argument, different people within that group began shooting at each other.”

The hotel is Hyatt Regency Phoenix, which is an upscale hotel in the area. A function was going on at the time of the shooting, and police say the people involved were at that function.

While details are slim, you never know where the next bullets will fly. The worst part, possibly, is that you don’t even need to be involved to get killed.

And this, yet again, is why we carry.
