Man Shot In The Head After Kicking In Woman’s Front Door, While On His Way To Anger Management Class

Published

A man was on his way to an anger management class when he stopped at a home and kicked in the front door. At that home, his children’s mother was apparently the target.

Once inside, the man armed himself with a knife, but was quickly shot in the head by a woman at the home.

Police say he had an active domestic violence injunction filed against him at the time of the incident.

This is exactly why we carry, and why we promote responsible gun ownership. Restraining orders and anything of the like are simply pieces of paper, and will not protect you if the person decides to knock on your door. Or in this case, kick it in.

Relevant question: Do you carry while at home? If not, how quickly can you honestly gain access to your firearm? Sometimes, these incidents happen in seconds.
