You never want a gun malfunction on your end, and people dread this happening every day. That’s why officers train so much, which includes the clearing of successful malfunctions.

When you’re the good guy and the bad guy has a malfunction, it’s an opportunity to gain the upper hand that you may not have had a second earlier.

That double-feed that the suspect experienced is a catastrophic malfunction, in more ways than one. Luckily, these officers were able to make it home to their families at the end of the day.
