Man Loses His Life While Walking Dog, Because A Pair Of Armed Robbers Decided It Was His Last Day On Earth

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA — Sometimes during an armed robbery, it’s a shakedown and the robber(s) are on their way. Other times, they’ll kill you just for the heck of it.

The man in between the other two in the photo above is Milan Loncar, who was on a walk with his dog in his neighborhood. Surveillance video captured Loncar walking down the street when he was approached by two other men who were looking for a victim to rob.

Police say 25-year-old Milan Loncar didn’t put up a fight when two people approached him on Wednesday evening in the Brewerytown section of Philadelphia.

They robbed him, and then shot him in the chest. Loncar died from his injuries.

One suspect was picked up a few hours after the murder, found in a stolen car that he was driving. He’d been out on a reduced bail since December 29th 2020. The murder of Loncar happened just two weeks later.

Compliance isn’t always the appropriate action, but it’s near impossible to tell what any outcome will look like. You take your chances, and Loncar probably wasn’t armed himself at the time. Even if he were, it’s a different story when you’re up against multiple attackers. Things get tricky.
