Three suspects happened to walk into a gas station to rob it, but that gas station also had a customer who wasn’t about to let them get away with it.
The customer and Marine, James Kilcer, quickly engaged the suspect with the gun and ended the robbery attempt just as quickly as it began.
“The military training helped a little bit… but most of it was being prepared, I take my personal safety and the safety of others around me pretty seriously on a regular basis. So just being in the right mindset of, if this happens, I’ll be prepared.”
