Man Shot And Killed Tuesday Morning In Nashville

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE — An altercation that led to a shooting left one man dead and another wounded early Tuesday, November 9th.

The shooting occurred on Sycamore Road. 49-year-old Dontrell Booker and 20-year-old Zion Lacy were involved in a fight just prior to the shooting. Police stated that Booker was in a relationship with Lacy’s mother. Police report that Booker fired at Lacy, who returned fire. Booker died as a result of his wound. Lacy was transported with a non-life threatening wound of his leg to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

An investigation is ongoing with no charges filed at this time.
