You can’t really make this stuff up, folks.
In the video below, a clearly disturbed man decides to advance on at least two officers, and, frankly, is lucky to be tased — the alternative would have been to be shot in this case, and the officers would have been totally right to have done so.
Instead, one of the officers deployed a taser against a man who apparently had stabbed his own mother not too long beforehand.
That’s bravery, almost bordering on recklessness. Fortunately, the policeman carrying a taser was covered by another officer who was ready to employ lethal force had things gone further south than they had already.
He risked his own life to avoid taking another, even when the man he tased made it almost impossible to do anything but shoot him.

- Was this level of restraint too much, too little, or just the right amount?
Give that policeman a medal.
