Police: 1 Dead In Attempted Armed Robbery

CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE — One individual was fatally shot amid a botched robbery on a Saturday evening in Chattanooga, as per authorities.

The police, arriving at 8:58 p.m., discovered the deceased with gunshot injuries on West 41st Street, according to the Chattanooga Times Free Press.

The reporting individual claimed to have acted in self-defense during the incident. Investigations continue into the matter.
