Armed Driver Turns Tables On Suspect During Carjacking Attempt In Philly

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA — In an attempted carjacking in North Philadelphia near 10th and Mount Vernon streets around 1:30 a.m., the intended victim resisted by using a firearm against the assailant, police reported.

It remains unknown whether the assailant sustained injuries.

The intended victim, whose details have not been disclosed, was unharmed physically. Authorities have yet to make any arrests and have not provided a description of the suspect.
